  AND THERE'S MORE!!!!!!!

Hard to believe it was only a couple of weeks ago Mal took to the skies but he's up there again bringing back two more lucky boys.

This time it's Danny now to be known as Rufus a young brindle boy whose luck changes today when he comes to meet his new mum and dad, Kelly and Neil. This young couple have not rushed into dog owning and have thought long and hard so we hope that Rufus will be everything they hoped for. Who knows Neil teaches surfing, Rufus might be the first greyhound to 'hang 10', we'll see.

Neil meets Rufus at the Areo Club just after arrival. Is that a big grin or what

Oh no not more silly ears!!!!!

Then there is Percy renamed Bolt - now that's a first - at just 4 years old his life will also change for the better when he meets his new family, Nikki, Russ, Sean and Aaron. We didn't want to lose Bolt and as Nikki and family had a pre-booked holiday and won't be back until the 18th, Danny and Trish, Podge's surrogate family said they would have Bolt until their return. Unfortunately the kennels can't really hold dogs for more than two weeks as it holds up a new dog coming in. Anyway Bolt will be right at home with Danny, Trish and the boys and of course Xena their own greyhound.

We are not going to tell Podge!!!!!

Alison gives Bolt a love as his new family will not be back from their holidays until the 18th

So there you are another two homings. We are still not up to last year's placings at the time but 14 greyhounds have graced the Islands so far this year and another two will be over hopefully by the end of the month, one to Guernsey and one to Jersey.

Once again our thanks to Pat Chan for delivering the boys to the airport and for the bags, thanks Pat, it goes without saying that we couldn't do any of this without Chris or Biggles as we sometimes call him and sincere thanks to Danny and Trish and the boys for taking Bolt for the next couple of weeks and of course to Xena for sharing her duvet and food bowl with him.

ONCE AGAIN WATCH THIS SPACE FOR THE NEXT TWO ARRIVALS AT THE END OF THIS MONTH

Have just received these shots from Danny and Trish a very hungry boy and eventually a very tired boy.

I just couldn't wait haven't eaten since last night said Bolt!!!!!

Nigh Nigh it's been such a long day!!!!

Well done Danny and Trish, see you up the field tomorrow.
