Charity week
& Craft Fayre

The dogs were a hit
with both local children like Mollie and
visiting French children alike.
Jersey
proves we are a Island of Dog Lovers.
Greyhound
Rescue took to the streets of St. Helier
for their second charity week.
Thanks to Marks and Spencer we were able
to display our boards and more to the
point our dogs just outside their
premises. We had rain, sun and cold
but despite the weather the
general public showed that they support
our cause, their generosity was once
again amazing. It is so good to
find that people are now aware of the
atrocities connected with the world of
greyhound racing and want to help in some
way or the other, albeit taking one on as
a pet, sponsoring a dog or just financial
support.

Dev the dude models an
Aussie hat from the craft stall next to
us.
Equally
it was also Craft Fayre time again and as
one day clashed with our charity week,
Alison and Jude had to start without us -
Nikki, Courtney and I remained in town
and then joined Alison on the
Sunday. We were so lucky as the
weather on Sunday was bitter it would not
have been a day to be standing outside
with dogs.
Just
to complete the 'hat trick' Open Day at
the Sanctuary will be on Sunday 13th
April - hope to see many of your again.
