Open Day -
Sanctuary Dogs Greet Their Public

Greyhound
Rescue held their third Open Day and once
again faces both old and new arrived to
see the gang. It is so encouraging
when many of our sponsors make the effort
to visit and have a cuddle with their
chosen dog and indeed renew their
membership for a further year. We
are also thrilled to announce 11 new
sponsor mums and dads - indeed the guys
will be very busy over the next few days
writing their stories and sending them
out.

OB
and Danny are both very lucky to have
Lauren and Hollie as their sponsors.
We
knew Gunner wouldn't be able to cope
with the crowds and thankfully the sun
shone on us and he lay in the garden
getting stuck in to multiple chewy
sticks. Kella our little brindle
bitch kept him company as she was
rather overcome by so many people.
The rest lapped it all up and Ruby and
Silks 'our puppy', as we call her,
entertained everyone with their
antics. As always they all did us
proud and once again proved
themselves to be worthy
ambassadors for the breed.

Ruby
and Silks loved being the centre of
attention while playing with their toys.
We
hope that folk left with a
different view as to what these ex
racing dogs are like. We know from
peoples' expressions that they are taken
back with them as a breed and we hope
that Open days like this and the various
talks and shows we attend create
awareness - which is what this is
all about.

cuddles from their visitors and sponsor
Mums.
Our
next Open Day will be October/November
time so put a note in your diary and we
will see you then. In the meantime
we once again thank everyone who took
time out to come and meet us all.
