WE WELCOME OUR ROMFORD BOYS

Barney & Dave

Barney and Dave 'our Romford boys' flew or rather blew into the Channel Islands on Thursday 17th April.  Barney a beautiful 16 month brindle greyhound who had the sense not to chase, will now enjoy life with Pat and Trevor in Guernsey. Seeing as they are regular visitors to the races in Jersey, Barney might come and visit one day.  We have quickly discovered that Barney is a roller, having had a wash and brush up with his mate Dave at the poodle parlour, he proceeded to roll in fox poo en route to the airport and once again in horse poo when he arrived at his new home.

Dave however, is a good boy, unlike pup he's a 'grown up'at 3 years of age.  According to Dave and Alison, his new mum and dad, he ate up well had his walk then crashed under the table.  Not quite living up to his racing name of Vigorous Dave!

We would like to say a big thank you to Ian and Tommy for letting the boys sleep over. Also for taking time off work to get the boys washed and groomed and delivered safely to the airport. Hopefully he will see them in the summer when he comes over for his hols. Many thanks to Julie for two cracking brindle boys.
