YOU
WOULDN'T FIND THIS LITTLE GIRL IN THE
JANUARY SALES

Little Rosie
First homing of 2010
To lose your
faithful friend at anytime is bad enough
but for Colin and Maria having to let
their 13 year old Boxer Billie go on
Boxing Day 2009 left them both
devastated. They had phoned us earlier in
the month to say they would like to take
on a rescue greyhound at some time in the
future but I don't think any of us
thought it would be so soon.
So with freezing
cold conditions little Rosie is probably
the fastest delivery to date as we only
found this little gal on Saturday but
Chris, our pilot, decided that sooner
rather than later was our best option to
fetch her as the weather was forecasted
to deteriorate as the week went on. It
was an early start and believe you me at
5am this morning the temperature was
minus 2 - we had to get up as the gang
had to be walked before Mal and Chris
left at just after 9.
So here we are the
4th January 2010 and our first homing
completed, let's hope this is a good omen
and we will have many more greyhounds
gracing our shores during this next year.

Kentee welcomes
Rosie to Jersey
Thanks again Pat
for driving down to deliver Rosie to the
airport and what can we say yet another
big show of appreciation to Chris who
never lets us down.
