OUR CARDS ARE
THE BEST IN THE WEST
With the leaves
falling and those mornings and evenings
becomming darker like it or not we have
to think Christmas which means cards. We
are lucky enough to have two wonderful
ladies who make individual cards for our
Charity.
Nicola Watkins from
Aristock Catteries
Nicola runs her own
cattery but also has three greyhounds
namely Jack, Dudley and Densil together
with Humphrey and Mabel the Retrievers
and Storm the whippet, but still finds
time to make her own cards which she
kindly sells on behalf of our charity.
She will make you cards for any occasions
and they can be obtained directly from
Nicola on tel 481314 or
alternatively just pop into Leodis
Veternary Practice at St. Brelade's where
she has her cards for sale on the
counter. Nicky will also make cards to
order if you speak to her nicely!!
Nicky's cards vary
in price according to size etc.
Dee Hausheer our
Alderney owner
Our second card
maker is Dee who has a lovely brindle
bitch called Ceilidh who she took from us
last year. Dee, although born in England,
has lived nearly all her life in the
U.S.A. and has a wonderful yankee twang
when she speaks. An artist by profession
she has now chosen the quieter life on
the Island of Alderney. Earlier in the
year she offered to make us some cards
exclusive to Greyhound Rescue and indeed
delivered them in person.
These are the three
different designs the third design comes
in either black or fawn greyhounds
As these cards are
exclusive to Greyhound Rescue we have to
ask £1.25 per card all profits of which
will be for our charity.
Alternatively we
have our packs of cards which are
featured on our front page but hopefully
below is a clearer picture. They are in
packs of 12 and we ask £4 per pack.
