CHARITY
WEEK IN ST. HELIER,
NOT SO MUCH
A 'CRUNCH' MORE OF A 'NIBBLE'

All set up and raring to go
in the glorious sunshine
Charity week in town is our
first big event of the year and with all
the talk of charities suffering due to
the 'credit crunch' we didn't know what
to expect. Still we needn't have had
cause for concern as the people of Jersey
once again supported us with donations
and sponsorships and much interest was
shown by both locals and visitors.
During the course of one of
the days we were approached by a lady
called Jane French who wanted to know if
any of the dogs with us were blood
donors. Of course Malarky and Fonz are
our regular donors and we discovered that
Malarky had saved the life of her Basset
Hound Poppy. We never get to meet the
owners of dogs our guys have given blood
to so this was an exceptionally special
occasion.

Jane thanks Malarky for his
life saving blood
As always we had some lovely
kids who so wanted their photos taken
with the guys

Malarky
We had six spectacular days
of sunshine met loads of old and new
faces and very much look forward to
repeating the whole event this time next
year.

Job done - Malarky and O.B.
take a well earned rest
WE THANK MARKS AND
SPENCER FOR ALLOWING US TO PITCH UP
OUTSIDE THEIR PREMISES AND IT GOES
WITHOUT SAYING OUR SINCERE THANKS TO ALL
MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC WHO CONTINUE TO
SUPPORT OUR CAUSE. SEE YOU ALL AGAIN NEXT
YEAR.
