ST. CLEMENT'S SPORTS CLUB FETE

HARLEA GETS INTO GEAR

Saturday saw us at the annual St. Clement's Sports Club Fete and, would you believe, the sun shone all day.

Harlea, Alison's six year old bitch, who was in such a pitiful state when she arrived here two years ago, met up with her fellow namesakes.

H.O.G. aka Harley Owners Group

who were only too pleased to pose for a photo with Harlea - unfortunately her legs were too long to actually become a biker

Being the first sunny Saturday for a while we had a steady stream of folk, despite the temptation to make the most of the beach on such a fine day. The variety of amusements on offer makes for an entertaining day for all the family.

It's always a bonus when some of our owners turn up to support us and Rose with her own dog Zara and Lord Claude who was staying with her whilst owner Lisa was away made a stunning pair as they strolled around the various stalls.

Do you think one day Lord Claude will make a honest dog out of Zara? Lady Zara does have a certain ring to it.

Not wanting to be left out our guys posed for their picture with Gail and Rose

missing was Malarky who was still taking a siesta

We were also joined by Keiran who recently became one of Kella's sponsors he and his grandparents had come along to see us.

Kella is a bit too shy to come to the shows at the moment but Keiran was happy to have O.B. stand in for her.

During the course of the afternoon Ziggy, Emma, George and Harry came to see us, Ziggy was making his debut as he only arrived from the U.K. the previous day

Ziggy moments after he touched down in Jersey to start his new life

Next to come along was Millie, Harry and Madison who just stopped off to give the guys a cuddle en route to a Pirate party.

O.B., made a new friend, Max the fourteen week old Golden Retriever, who looked longingly at O.B.'s legs wondering if he would ever be that tall!!

O.B., and Max obviously deep in conversation.

Finally Emily was the winner of this shows Hula Hoop Challenge - dad's face was a picture as the family are on holidays and they are most concerned at how they are going to get the hoop on the plane!! - Never mind where there's a will there a way.

Emily sharing her moment of fame with O.B.

We would like to thank the Committee of St. Clement's Sport Club for inviting us once again to attend their annual event. See you all next year.
