FROM WEST TO EAST FOR THE DAY

Once again the trailer hit the road for our last outdoor show of the year at St. Clement. We have been attending for a few years now and again the weather was kind to us and a great day was had by all. Our displays seem to get bigger every year and we are now up in the Pub car park with plenty of room which is fantastic. Loads of our owners turned up, there was Gus who brought his ball with him and Lewis who wanted to have Gus's ball!!! then the Wiz kid came along and met his half brother Bolt who has now left his foster home with Danny, Trish, Matthew and Jacob and gone to his permanent abode with Nikki, Russ and the boys Sean and Aaron.

Dev came as he always does with mum Mandy and dad Glenn bit of a birthday outing as Dev hits double figures tomorrow 10 years old. Hank, Rosie, Casper all called by to say hello.

Podge arrived with Danny, God is this boy spoilt or what, mega sleepover for 3 nights and then had the nerve to stay an extra night and not come home till Sunday. Trish brought his 'gal' Xena down later and the two of them shared a bed, mind you no funny business!!!

There were a steady flow of people all day and as usual the gang lapped up the attention.

Fonz's 'pulling power' never faulters once again he attracts cuddles from Zara and her brother Zac.

The lovely Lewis

Finally after saying thanks to the Committee of St. Clements fete we would like to ask a big big favour. Above is Lewis, a truely handsome blue and white boy who came to live with Alison earlier in the year. He has dreadful ligament problems in his front foot and needs extensive surgery to insert a plate in his leg to fuse the joint and relieve him of the pain he has with this condition. If anyone would like to donate some pennies to help cover the cost of this op which is in the region of £2,500 - £3,000 we would ask that you get in touch with either Alison or ourselves.

Details are to be found on Alison's website which is

www.jerseydogs.co.uk

or alternative contact Greyhound Rescue.

COME AND SEE US AND THE GANG AT CHARITY WEEK COMMENCING SATURDAY 11TH SEPTEMBER. WE WILL BE OUTSIDE MARKS AND SPENCER IN KING STREET AND WILL HAVE A FEW BITS FOR SALE INCLUDING CHRISTMAS CARDS.
