GOOD WEATHER MEANS THAT NO.8'S NOT LATE!!

Three year old Harvey (now Skipper)

Time marches on and it's hard to believe that nearly 3 years have passed since Tic Toc (Jenny's watch dog!!!) graced our shores and came to live with Pippin the Weimaraner and Jenny.

Several dog beds and muddy paws later Tic Toc and Pippin decided to ask Mum if they could have a new pal to share their bones with so 'Enter Skipper'.

Skipper was one of 11 puppies but is the odd one out being brindle when all his siblings are fawn. He already has a brother Elvis now called Blue who came to live in Jersey in February and has proved to be a star let's hope brother Skipper will follow suit. All the litter were hand reared as mum's milk dried up and she couldn't feed them. All have raced unsuccessfully, a couple are still on the track so who knows maybe more members of the family will end up here.

Skipper with his sister and brother

Well Skipper arrived safe and sound at 6.15pm and went straight to his new home. Many thanks to Nigel for collecting Skipper and delivering him to the airport and to Vin our pilot for bringing them all back to Jersey safe and sound.

Skipper meets his new family Tic Toc and Pippin and just some of Jenny's many grandchildren
