THE
SANCTUARY GANG GET NEW WHEELS.
After
months of looking the Delamere dudes have
got a new set of wheels. Mal
travelled to Milton Keynes home of those
famous concrete cows (only my age group
will remember the fuss when they were
erected - strange the things you
remember!!!) to bring back a fifteen
seater mini bus - spoilt or what!!!!
After
sore knuckles and a stiff back Mal
eventually removed all the seats but not
before locking the keys in and having to
break in to our own van!! Hopefully
some coach company may like to buy the
seats from us as they are in excellent
condition. The carpet has been laid
and the luxury mode of transport is now
up and running. At present Gail has
only had the bottle to drive it as far as
Ouaisne as she has no concept of the
width and length of it having spent years
driving her little old van.
It
had to be, as the 'oldies' needed room to
lay down when travelling and were taking
up too much room, so now they all have
good views and comfort on their way to
the beach and park. At the moment
we are just another white van but when
all the writing and motifs are on we
reckon you will definitely be able to see
us coming - mind you if Gail is driving
you may want to give her a wide
berth!!!!!
So
look out for us, and always give us a
wave.
