TRAILER MAKES
ITS DEBUT AT MAUFANT YOUTH CLUB FETE

The long awaited
day had arrived Friday was the day the
trailer was to make its maiden voyage to
the other side of the Island to
participate at Maufant Youth Club's fete.
With great trepidation Mal and I managed
to pull it up to the gates and into the
road - a passer-by helped us push it into
position to be attached to our van ready
for the off. There was a great long
traffic jam both sides down our road
which unfortunately is quite narrow but
after many apologies for the hold up we
were on our way. We took it at a steady
pace as it was the first time Mal had
towed a trailer and Jersey roads as we
all know are not the widest in the world.
Thankfully we
arrived safe and sound and after getting
a few things ready left it there ready
for Saturday.
Couldn't have asked
for a better day on Saturday but could
have asked for more people -
unfortunately there was another fete
being held down the road so it was a very
quiet day shame really as the venue was
perfect, beautiful field, electric, water
and more importantly to us 'gals' loos.
Anyway we made the most of it and as
usual the dogs enjoyed all the attention.

Firefighters Dominic and Richard
took a shine to our Fonz

Early in the day people just
arriving

Libby at the back holds Wiz and
Dev whilst Harlea gets a love from Megan
and Connor
Due to there not being very many
entrants to the hula hoop competition we
will now be picking the winner after the
St.George's fete next Saturday 20th June.
The lucky girl or boy will be informed
later that day.
We thank everyone that came to
see us at the Maufant fete and maybe we
will see more of you next year.
