No. 13 Unlucky
for Some!!
...but
not for the Nash family, that's Jo, Paul
and five year old Bob AND,
oh yes and there is an and, the
chickens!!!! - Well it makes a change
from the cat, rabbit or hamster!! We hope
egg production won't be a affected by the
arrival of Vigorous Barney now to be
called Rexie.

Ian and Tom bid
farwell to Rexie at Southend airport

And here they are
having just landed in Jersey - Rexie's
looking at his new homeland
Vigorous, as he was
when he raced, packed it in after an
injury and retired from the track after
just eight races - clever old Vigorous -
obviously knew it wasn't the life for him
and he had the perfect excuse.
Reports from his
trainer say he is a good dog albeit a
little reserved so we all look forward to
Rexie coming out of his shell, bit like
the chicken and the egg really!

Rexie meets his new
family

Just 3 hours after
arriving at his new home Rexie has his
feet under the table!!!!
Our thanks this
time go to Julie from Romford Greyhound
Owners Association for letting us have
Rexie, to Tom, Ian's greyhound for
sharing his bed and his dad with him last
night - also more thanks to Ian for
getting Rexie a shampoo and set and to
our pilot Chris who we think is becoming
quite a greyhound expert!!
