OUR FLYNN
We are so numb at
the moment we can't really believe that
our beautiful Flynn is no longer with us.
He wasn't ill and
had been taking full advantage of an
empty each all week, running and digging
sand castles in his favourite spot at St.
Brelade's beach. He had just joined Pola
Bear for a run and was dancing around
being silly, a side of Flynn which was
delightful - he came to us as a
desperately shy dog and to see him
progress the way he had over the 6 years
he had been with us was so rewarding - he
came back to Mal for his tit-bit, had his
lead put on, then just lay down and
passed away.
This is only the
second time one of our dogs has died
without the assistance of the vet and the
shock is devastating. He was so peaceful
and our vet thinks it could have been a
brain clot or a heart attack. It doesn't
really matter what it was, we have lost
yet another of our beautiful dogs and
once again things will never quite be the
same without him.
We know that for
him this was just the perfect end to his
life, running free on the beach, no
suffering. So loved not only by us but by
all that knew him.
We so hope our
losses will cease for a while as many of
you know we lost our Turk 10 days ago and
we so need to accept these losses before
we have to face this situation once
again.
