THE SAD LOSS OF
MOLLY
GIVES PEARL A
NEW HOME

Molly
The tragic and
unexpected loss of Molly was devastating
for Andy and Gillian and although they
still have Floyd and Coby the greyhounds
and Stumpy the three legged lurcher, the
house was just not the same. They had
taken Floyd from us back in 2007 - bit of
a handful - but all four dogs had formed
a bond and they knew something was wrong
when Molly died.
Andy gave us a buzz
and it just so happened that Pearl, a
black five year old, had been returned
from her home in England due to a change
in circumstances and was in need of a new
sofa to lie on.

Pearl
After a very foggy
start our trustee pilot Chris took off
and Mal was soon back in Guernsey with
the new arrival.

Andy and Gillian
welcome Pearl at the airport
Also at the airport
was Mick and Jean who recently took Amber
on having lost Ruby their first greyhound
last year. Amber greeted Pearl and told
her life was really good now.

arrival Pearl and Jean with their own dog
Amber who arrived a couple of weeks ago.
So dog number 14
enters her new life in Guernsey and we
thank Sylvia for bringing her down from
Walthamstow and of course Chris for not
letting the fog put him off this morning.
Next stop Guernsey Animal Shelter fete on
Sat. 4th July hope to see all our
Guernsey pooches there.
