A SIGHT FOR
SORE EYES
Blue skies and
sunshine greeted owners and their hounds
for Alison's first Sighthound Rescue
awareness and social walk.

Just awaiting the arrival of
all the dogs before the walk started.
Whilst we deal with the
greyhounds Alison finds suitable homes
for lurchers and whippety things, as she
calls them so hopefully between the two
charities we have the majority of
sighthounds covered.

Alison seen here with owners
Lisa and Steve who adopted Footie and Pip
last year

Kizzy, Whisper, Woozle and
Ludo four lurchers belonging to Donna
The turnout was amazing and
it was really good to catch up with all
the sighthounds from various origins.
Whether they be people and their hounds
we've never met before, Greyhound Rescue
dogs or Alison's rescues enjoying their
new lives - hunger, cruelty and lack of
shelter being a thing of the past.

End of the line at La
Fregate

I think we have given up
trying to get a photo of all the dogs it
just doesn't happen but hopefully you
will enjoy the photos such as they are.
