SQUIBBY BOB
RACING NAME - SQUIBBY BOB
24TH APRIL 1993 - 7TH AUGUST
2008

Squibby, our special little
boy, as we often called him told us it
was time for him to go and join his pals
on Thursday 7th August, 2008, at 11.45am.
This amazing little dog was
approaching 15 1/2 years old and we had
had him for 10 of those precious years.
He came to us with a pin in his leg from
an accident but the pin had come apart
and he must have been in severe pain but
he never complained. We got the leg fixed
and from that day to the day we lost him
he was just a treasure to own.
Good with other dogs and
always off his lead, Squibby could be
seen playing with his ball and craving
loves and strokes from all willing to
give them. These last couple of years saw
his eyesight and hearing become poor but
his zest for life never failed which is
why we knew it was time for us to do that
last kindness when, for the past week, he
had become unsettled and not sleeping at
night. He had become very thin and a lump
appeared on his side just out of the blue
which was a sure indication that
something was wrong.
His passing was so peaceful
he never even moved when John, one of our
vets came round, typical of our Squib he
would never have made a fuss, he just
passed away peacefully in our arms.
Each and everyone of our
dogs are so special and none moreso that
our little man Squibby.
Keep chasing that ball
Squibby
We will never stop loving
you
