ST
GEORGE'S FETE -
YOU DON'T HAVE
TO GO ALL THE WAY
TO DISNEY TO
MEET MICKEY MOUSE

Glen with O.B. and
Dev and Mal with Malarky and Fonz
Having attended a
school assembly at St. George's earlier
in the year with our dogs continuing our
awareness compaign, we were delighted
when the school invited us to take part
at their annual summer fete.
Out came the
trailer for it's second appearance and
thanks to Steve we didn't hold up the
traffic getting through the gates nor, we
are pleased to say, did we get stuck this
time upon our return - do you think Mal
has now got the hang of it?!!!!

The trailer once
again takes centre stage
The weather
surprised us in that the forecast was for
a sunny day but there was a thick layer
of cloud over us until late afternoon and
a keen wind which made it pretty chilly
for us but ideal conditions for the
hounds.
It's always so
rewarding when our owners take the time
out to pop in and see us at these events
so thanks to Danny with Xena and Billy,
Glen and Mandy with Dev, Rose with her
own dog Zara and lodger Casper whose mum
and dad, Helen and Phil were having a
long weekend in Guernsey. New owners
Phil, Julie and the girls Eve and Cara
brought Ozzy up, one of our new arrivals
who only came two weeks ago. He was a
star and took it all in his stride.

Newcomer Ozzy with
his human sister Eve and new addition to
the family Homer hitching a ride!!
With Alison and
myself, were regulars Fonz, Malarky,
O.B., Harlea and Wiz who is becoming very
popular with his public - folk are so
pleased to see him looking so fit and
well after being found in such a dreadful
state at the end of last year. Of course
Harlea was in a similar state two years
previous to that and has made an amazing
recovery.

Rose seen here with
Malcolm and Alison and some of the gang
Once again our
thanks go to the Headmaster, staff,
pupils and parents of St. George's for
making our first visit such a good one,
and to our owners and members of the
public who continue to support us. Watch
out Guernsey we will be with you on the
4th July.
