IN AT THE DEEP END

Earlier in
the year I applied to the Lions Club to
be one of the charities to benefit from
this years' Swimarathon. You can't
imagine how thrilled we were to be
accepted. So on the weekend of the 9th
March me and the guys went to cheer on
the swimmers who were making this
possible.
We met up
with some of the swimmers from the Tigers
Club who enjoyed having a pat with the
dogs and their photo taken.

Last night
Alison and I joined the other 39
recipients on the terraces of The Jersey
College for Girls and were presented with
a cheque for £1,500 we were absolutely
thrilled. Malarky was allowed to come and
accepted our award with great dignity and
I think he got the loudest round of
applause.
